2 Appearance & Style The first thing you need to do is to make sure that you are in Edit Mode. On the far right hand side of the screen, set the Edit Mode to ON by clicking on the grey box. Customization Menu and Style Settings The Style settings control how the Course appears to users. Settings include identifying the first page users see when they open the Course, the appearance of the menu, and how content items appear in folders. In addition, a banner may be added to the top of the course entry page, the first page students see when entering the course. Learn more about Style settingsStyle settings Watch Video

4 Managing Content Create A Content Area Create different Content Areas to organize the files and tools you make available to students. Learn more about Creating a Content Area Creating a Content Area Create a Blank Page A blank page presents information about a single page. 5 Managing Content Linking to a Tool Area Creating a link to the Tools Area incorporates using Tools as part of the content presented to users. Individual Tool links can also be added alongside content in a Course. A Course Link is a shortcut to an area, a tool, or an item and can be added to a Content Area, Learning Module, Lesson Plan, folder, or the Course Menu. 6 Managing Content Create External Links Links to outside Web sites and resources may be added to Content Areas as External Links. When entering a URL, always enter the full Web address to the link. 7 Managing Content Create Subheaders and Dividers The appearance of the Course Menu is changed by adding Subheaders and Dividers to organize the Menu Area. Subheaders can organize your course menu. They are similar to Dividers, but differ in that they have a label.
