What was the message? To Pharaoh and the Egyptians? To the Israelites?
These false Gods were supposed to protect Egypt. This is a time of magic and mysticism, not science. The Lord was more powerful than these. To the Israelites? What if Moses and Pharaoh had just made a deal? The Israelites needed to be convinced that this was the true God

Why was Pharaoh so stubborn?
