Objective: Students will demonstrate their understanding of their work values interest. Bellwork: How do you write a thesis statement?

The past few days we have been talking about the work values survey. This survey does not tell you what jobs you would be good at, but does tell you about your personality and values to help you make a decision about your future career options. Example: High value in Money and Teaching probably would not lead to job satisfaction Your values (and scores) will change over time so keep this to assess yourself in the future.
3
What is your personality and how will it apply to your future career? Write an essay in the formal essay style explaining. What are your top categories and what do these scores tell you about your personality? What are your lowest scoring categories and what do these scores tell you about your personality? Based on your survey results what career do you think you would enjoy, and explain how that career relates to your survey results.

We now have a short video on “Matching Your Skills, Talents, and Ambitions to a Dream Career”. Pay attention! NO HEADS DOWN, NO TALKING
