Children start learning English in kindergarten, when they are 5 – 6 years old. They usually don’t use books. They learn songs, chants and vocabulary.

Learning English is obligatory when children go to class 1 They use books and workbooks (obligatory) They learn lots of songs, chants and vocabulary. Lessons are based on stories, games, mini drama, crafts. Teachers use flashcarts, wordcards, hand puppets, audio recordings, itools, video Children have two hours of English in a week
