2 Introduction The purpose of this workshop is to provide teachers the opportunity to become acquainted with Poll Anywhere and show how cell phones can be effective tools in the classroom.

4 Cell Phones in the Classroom What are some ways that your students have used cell phones in inappropriate ways in the classroom? Do you know how to use cell phones as an effective teaching tool?

5 Why use Poll Anywhere? Poll Anywhere is a great way to teach 3 rd grade students how to use cell phones to collect data for graphing purposes. Poll Anywhere is a great way to teach 3 rd grade children how to create data collection instruments. Poll Anywhere is an efficient way of displaying authentic data for analysis. Poll Anywhere is NOT a great tool to teach 3 rd graders how to create graphs.
