2 How can we use a multiplication grid to help us solve this word problem? Sam had 6 packets of balloons for his party. Each packet contained 38 balloons. How many balloons would Sam have to blow up altogether?

Each bag has 6 special presents inside. How many presents has the organiser had to buy for these bags? d.Nine children each bring in 47p towards their class’ Comic Relief fund. How much money did they bring in altogether? e.At a theme park, 92 people each paid an £8 entrance fee.
