Romans 12:2 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.

Matthew 6:5-8 5 “When you pray, you are not to be like the hypocrites; for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and on the street corners so that they may be seen by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full. 6 But you, when you pray, go into your inner room, close your door and pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you. 7 “And when you are praying, do not use meaningless repetition as the Gentiles do, for they suppose that they will be heard for their many words. 8 So do not be like them; for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him.

Matthew 6: “Pray, then, in this way: ‘Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. 10 ‘Your kingdom come. Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven.

The domain in which God Rules specifically my life!

Romans 10:9 9 if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;

The alternative is to confess the domain which MAN Rules

Matthew 6:33 3 But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you

Psalm 46:10 “BE STILL (Cease striving) and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

2 Chronicles 7: if My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Questions for your consideration: 1. What does it mean to you that Jesus is Lord? 2. Is it necessary that Jesus be Lord of my life? 3. Do we sense an ongoing conflict between Jesus being Lord of my life and me being Lord of my life?
