12. Summary The Cause of the Nazis' success Hitler promised to end the economic crisis that was going on in Germany. Because of that promise he got a lot of supporters. Other reasons why people chose to support Hitler were: - They had a great propaganda. - Hitler made a big impression on people because of his personality. - The Nazi’s promised to give the German people what they wanted. - The German people were scared of the SS and SA. - They gave the people someone to blame ( The Jewish community ). These promises Hitler made were based on a war economy he had build. Our question is: Is democracy possible when there is a war and a economy crisis ?
