3 Company Overview Ten years ago, A.D. Gentle aspired to create a collection of writing that expressed an innovative, uninhibited viewpoint. The product line includes two printed books: a full length novel and a short story compilation.  Book: The Freak and the Vampire  Short Stories: Midnight on Halloween Future plans include the release of a second novel that is currently in the writing phase.

4 Mission Statement & Goals Mission: To attract genre-based readers as well as contribute to the cross-genre market. Goals: To sell the 65 remaining books by December 2010, create noticeable exposure leading to increase sales & fan base

11 IMPLEMENTATION 1. Contact local bookstores to assess feasibility of stocking books. 2. Implement social network. 3. Create/participate in events. 4. Find a distributor/sell through online bookstores. 5. Print advertisements and distribute to alternative subculture oriented stores.

12 CONTROL & EVALUATION Percentage sold of complete inventory: Goal: sell remaining inventory (65 books) At the end of each month, an evaluation of books sold would occur A safe target is to have 10 books sold per month. Allows constant follow-up, and eliminates risk of having all of the books left to sell in December. October “Target Month”: theme of the short stories book is Halloween, and novel having a vampire theme.
