Entrance exam – NOV. 13, 2015 Please register online to write the entrance exam 50 math questions (45 minutes) 50 Science questions (45 minutes) Writing passage (45 minutes)

Entrance exam – NOV. 13, 2015 Registration will open at 8:00 a.m. in front foyer Introduction will be made at 9:00 a.m. Exam will start at 9:30 a.m. 45 minutes for 50 multiple choice math questions 15 minute break (10:15 – 10:30 a.m.) 45 minutes for 50 multiple choice science questions 15 minute break (11:15 – 11:30 a.m.) 45 minutes for writing passage Dismissal at 12:15 p.m.

Student Profile Grade 7 Final Report Card & Term 1 Report Card Optional Attendance Form signed by school administrator 2 Teacher recommendation forms IF YOU ARE NOT CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN A TDSB SCHOOL Application timelines are listed on the program for the evening.

Optional attendance You will need to submit one OA form to each school that you are applying to.

TOPS on Bloor Bloor Collegiate Each OA form you submit should show the same list of schools/programs you are applying to. You may only apply to 2 specialized programs and 2 regular programs You are invited and encouraged to apply to the Mainstream program at Bloor C.I.

F.A.Q. Should I apply? What does the program cost?
If you are a motivated student seeking enrichment and looking for “more” in your studies, TOPS on Bloor might be the right fit for you What does the program cost? There is no fee to apply and write the entrance exam. There is an annual fee of $400 for students in the program that covers the cost of field trips and other enrichment experiences.

F.A.q. How do I prepare for the Entrance Exam?
Get a good night sleep, eat a good breakfast, bring a nut-free snack & water. Come prepared with non-programmable calculator, several HB pencils, pens. Look at sample questions from website for format and expectation Arrive on time, but not too early… This exam is NOT designed for you to get 90%. Come prepared to be challenged.

F.A.Q. I am not available to write the entrance exam on November 13.
We are running an alternative Entrance Exam on Wednesday November 18 at 8:30 – 11:30 a.m. There are limited seats available You can register for the alternative date online

F.A.Q. How do I arrange for accommodations from my IEP?
If you have an IEP that outlines accommodations for extra time or assistive technology, please send a copy of the IEP to Bloor no less than a week prior to the Entrance Exam. IEP accommodations will be supported on the main test date of November 13, 2015
