1. Callie’s Vacation to Gulf Shores!

2. When I think of the beach I think of my family vacation to Gulf Shores. It happened when I was eight. It involved going to the water park, the hotel, and learning how to swim.

3. First, when we were in Gulf Shores, we stopped by the Hotel of Marriott, to put our luggage up. When we walked in, it looked fabulous! There was comfortable furniture, snack machines, drinks all that kind of stuff!

4. Then, we drove to the water park and played for hours! We played hide ‘n’ seek in the water, then we ate ice cream. Next, we went to the wave pool.

5. Afterwards, we ate lunch, then got in the outdoor pool. Next, I was holding my breath, flapping my arms around, and kicking my feet in the water, and the next thing you know… I’m swimming! My nana said, “You go girl!” My pop said, “You’re doing good girl!” And my brother said, “Cool!” That right there… is how I learned how to swim!

6. Now you can see, my Gulf Shores vacation, which included the water park, the fabulous hotel, and best of all, learning how to swim, created memorable moments for me!
