2 O I was born in Canton, China in 1917 O I arrived in the United States at the age of 18 in 1935

3 O I moved here to study architecture. I am now one of the most famous architectures in the world.

4 I received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology

5 O I was not an indentured servant. I moved here to study.

6 O Working and living here was better than in my homeland. I had more to design from. O The native community enjoyed my well architectural designs.

7 O I settled in Boston, Massachusetts, which is where I did all my studies at MIT.

8 O I was famous for my architectural designs (examples below) O I was awarded the highest architectural honor at MIT. Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Cleveland, Ohio Grand Louvre Paris, France

9 I have given this century some of its most beautiful interior spaces, and exterior forms. First Bank Place National Center for Atmospheric Research
