How Are We Organized? Organelles are located in our cells (basic building block)

How Are We Organized? All cells start out being able to become any type of cell (ie. Heart cell, brain cell, etc) but in the very early stages become specialized The only cells that do not specialize are our stem cells

How Are We Organized? Cells of the same type come together to form tissues All these cells have developed to perform the same function!

How Are We Organized? Organs come together to form body systems Ex. Digestive, Respiratory and Circulatory

How Are We Organized? A group who can mate with each other to produce viable offspring form a species Ex. All humans are of the same species

How Are We Organized? A group of individuals of the same species living together in the same area is a population Ex. A pack of grey wolves in Yellowstone national park

How Are We Organized? And when A group of populations come together to live in an area at the same time it is a Community Ex. All the people, birds and other animals that live in Cole Harbour
