Purpose of development For flow control of cooling water for moulding and welding guns and leakage control tip cooling water, the liquid which is measured by flow meter is mainly industrial water. 21 ConfidentialConfidential Completely fill the fluid passage with water. The product cannot measure correctly if the fluid passage is not completely filled. If the product is installed vertically, do not apply flow from the top to bottom. Bubbles may cause malfunction. Ensure the product is used within the operating temperature range. Operating temperature range is 0 to 50 o C, fluid temperature range is 0 to 85 o C. When multiple sensors are used in parallel, install them outside of the area shown below. 9 . Short-circuit DC(+) DC (-) OUT1 OUT2 DC(+) The switch cannot be used for equipment in which piping or installation side is connected to DC(+). In order to identify ground, use a voltage tester and place it on the control board power source DC(-) and the tubing. If the measured voltage is 0V then it is a negative ground. If the measured voltage is 24V then it is a positive ground. Always assure that the customer is advised of this measuring method. Piping port and the metal part of the body are grounded to DC(-)/ blue line. 9 . Cautions for handling (2)

23 ConfidentialConfidential 9 . Cautions for handling (3) Use liquid with 5μS/cm or higher electrical conductivity. This product cannot be used for fluids with low electrical conductivity. This product cannot be used for fluids that do not conduct electricity such as gas, de-ionized water and oil.
