WHAT IS SMUDGING Smudging is when you have sage (a plant that grows wild where we live) and a shell and lighter, and a feather. Then you light the sage. Then you put the sage toward you so the smoke goes over your body. IT SMELLS GOod TO US BUT WHEN i FirST tried IT, it SMELLed FUNNY. Smudging helps cleanse our bodies and our homes and gets us ready for our solstice celebration.
