5 Processing Terms LiPS – Lindamood Phonemic Sequencing helps students become aware of mouth positions which produce sounds. It focuses on self correcting for reading, spelling, and speech. 5LindamoodBell Learning- Johnson City

6 Processing Terms SI – Symbol Imagery teaches students to visualize and identify the number and sequence of sounds and letters within words. 6LindamoodBell Learning- Johnson City

7 Processing Terms V/V – Visualizing and Verbalizing for Language Comprehension and Thinking stimulates concept imagery and helps students see the image as a gestalt or whole. 7LindamoodBell Learning- Johnson City

8 Lindamood-Bell School Services Implementation Model Human Learning Management Model brings a Lindamood-Bell consultant- facilitator to the school district to mentor and consult with school staff On-site Lindamood-Bell staff On-site mentoring and consultation Lindamood-Bell Consultant Certification after 300 hours of teaching the program 8LindamoodBell Learning- Johnson City

10 Over 200 Teachers Trained to deliver LMB Strategies  Johnson City Schools Began working with Lindamood-Bell Consultants during the 2006- 2007 School Year  Data involving Pre and Post testing and attendance per session are kept  Students move seamlessly into groups from one school to another  Phenomenal results have been logged As of March 10 2010:  72 k-2 classroom teachers use Lindamood-Bell strategies during daily reading instruction  60 3 rd – 5 th grade teachers use strategies during daily reading instruction  104 Tier 2 and Tier 3 Groups get between 50 and 90 minutes of intervention per day 10LindamoodBell Learning- Johnson City
