2  Many Heat Transfer problems require lengthy calculations involving several thermophysical properties  Convective Heat Transfer problems often require iterative solutions with each iteration requiring recalculation of properties  TPC is a good option, but numbers must still be entered into calculator by hand for each iteration

3  An built-in Excel properties calculator allows for rapid calculation of properties exactly where needed  Allows for rapid iterative solution finding (Solver)

5  Easy to Use  Highly Accessible  Reduces Data Entry error  Increases ability to iterate and obtain better solutions while enabling students to better understand the systems considered

7  Excel can be a very powerful tool when equipped with the proper functions  These functions integrated with existing “Convection Workbook” would be an extremely powerful tool for solving and understanding problems
