5 Schedule and Schedule Changes How to read your schedule If there is a problem with your schedule, report it to the front office

6 Schedule and Schedule Changes – Con’t You have 4 core classes, all on team and 2 electives. – Core classes (Math, Science, SS and Language Arts) are 55-57 minutes and elective classes are 44 minutes. – 6 th grade has their core classes at the beginning of the day and electives the last 2 periods of the day. – Students will report to homeroom (1 st Core) at the end of the day for bus room.

7 Supplies Shark Team Supplies: – two 2" or four 1 1/2 inch binders or one very large binder – Dividers – Sheet protectors – Notebook paper – Pencils – Glue sticks – Scissors – Colored pencils – Dry erase markers – Flash drive- minimum 2 gig

8 When you need your supplies Ideally, you want to have all your supplies for the first day of school. If this is not possible, please try to have them no later than the first day of the second week of school. Lockers will be given out when you have returned all the required, signed paperwork Once you have a locker, you may not take your book bag or gym bag to your other classes

9 How to Stay Informed Agenda – will be used for hall/bathroom pass, as well as for Smart Block. – More information will be coming concerning Smart Block during curriculum night on Sept. 29 th Teacher’s Website Weekly Newsletter Online Grading Program – Power School (information provided by Ms. Figuroa) Teacher Email Parent-Teacher Conference –schedule through team leader

10 Expectations Come prepared with all needed materials Be prompt Maintain a positive learning environment Participate Show respect for your teachers and classmates Ask questions if you are unsure or unclear Do your homework/Study for quizzes and tests Ask for help if you need it

11 Shark Team Wish List Tissues Hand sanitizer Lysol or Clorox wipes Dark colored dry erase markers Dollar store item prizes for our prize box Extra school supplies (for students in need) Gift Cards (Target, Walmart, grocery stores)
