Language points 1. working as 从事 … 职业 e.g. Mr. Ken,why do you like working as a dectctive? 2. the +adj. 表示某一类人 e.g. I hope to pretect the innocent as well as find the guilty. 无罪的 有罪的 e.g. the old, the young, the sick 3. as well as " 也, 和 ", 连接两个并列成分. 注意 : 当 as well as 连接两个主语时谓语动词与前面的主语保持一致. e.g. The teacher, as well as the students, is going to work on the farm next week. as well as 与 not only…but also… 意思相近; as well as 强调 其前项; not only…but also… 强调 but also 后面的部分.
