18 It was built by Architect Sinan, the most famous architect in the Ottoman history.
19
19 Maiden’s (Leandros) Tower Many legends are told about this tower.

22
22 Istanbul’s beauty is not only determined with its history.
23
23 Insanely diverse cultures live together here, and that is what makes us even more different. We learn how to share, respect and keep up with the other people who don’t share our ideas, culture or traditions...
24
24...so any kind of belief, ideas, interests, or anything you would think that is not compatible with our culture...
25
25...are welcome.
26
26 Our school is located in Zeytinburnu, a multicultural district on the European side of Istanbul. About Our School Haluk Ündeğer Anadolu Lisesi
27
27 There are lots of historical places nearby our school, such as the Tarihi Merkezefendi Köftecisi, a restaurant that has been around for nearly 60 years and specializes in meatballs.
28
28 Our school is near the tram, E5 highway,
29
29 and the Zeytinburnu Cultural Center.
30
30 The construction of our school began in 2006 and was sponsored by UPS and businessman Haluk Ündeğer, who gave his name to our school.
31
31 We have 1703 students and 79 teachers. (with a cute yard rocking the snowy days)
32
32 Our school gives many oppurtunies to the students.
33
33 We have language, maths and social studies departments
34
34...as well as many sports clubs,
35
35 while encouraging students to achieve what they want, to show their talents and to not to be afraid of competing with others.
36
36 Our students have the oppurtunity of taking private lessons on maths, physics, chemistry, art,German and swimming.
37
37 Our school often organizes tours and this is our second Comenius project. (Çanakkale, a monumental city that we visit ever year)
38
38 (last year’s pre-prom/graduation celebrations at school)
39
39 For the future Europe What would it be like?
40
40 The future is supposed to bring more liberty for us.
41
41 We are all unique and precious just the way we are.
42
42...where we respect others' religions,
43
43 where we allow things that some people still can't get over such as same sex marriages, or acceptance of the truth that there is no such a thing as ‘gender roles’ or ‘only two genders’, with no more ‘women belonging in the kitchen’ jokes
44
44 We would express ourselves freely.
45
45 The future Europe and the world will be more modern and technological.
46
46 There will be no dress code at school, because we don’t want uniforms and no rules about what we wear, our hair, beard, piercings or tattoos etc. It’s a way to express ourselves.
47
47 People will be more cool about others’ looks. (And yes, that’s Ed Sheeran.)
48
48 Our classes will probably be multicultural as much as it can be, because we will travel and move to anywhere since the visas are abolished.
49
49 What would we eat? No junk food No fast food, probably
50
50 Fruits and vegetables must be organic and be produced in a healthy environment.
51
