Research included reviewing the following cities meter hood permit programs: Boise, ID Grand Rapids, MI Madison, WI Portland, OR Seattle, WA Meter Hood Code Update Presentation Title - 7

Formal application process (ranging from 24 hours to 7 days in advance) Fee for each stall temporarily removed from use (Most cities charge a higher fee in meter zones with lower fees in non-metered areas) Fees based on a combination of cost recovery (administration) and lost revenue (in meter zones) Prohibit use of the temporary parking for employee use Common Elements Presentation Title - 8

Some cities require the permit user to place and remove bags.
