Rate
2
Some definitions A rate is a special kind of ratio, indicating a relationship between two measurements A magnitude or frequency relative to a time unit; “they travelled at a rate of 80 km per hour” Amount of a charge or payment relative to some basis; "overseas phone call rates”, “postal rates” A quantity or amount or measure considered as a proportion of another quantity or amount or measure; “the literacy rate”; “the retention rate”; “the dropout rate” Others – tax rate, interest rate,

Speed
4
Some definitions Speed is a measurement of how fast an object is moving. Fast-moving objects can cover large distances in a small amount of time. Conversely, slow-moving objects can cover a small distance in a large amount of time Speed can also be defined as the distance travelled per unit time; “He travelled at an average speed of 70 km/h” Others – speed of light, speed of sound, shutter speed, wind speed Units for speed: km/h, m/s, m/min, cm/s
