 High response among the General Populace, Pregnant Women (PW), and Traditional Birth Attendants (TBAs).  Willingness of target population to learn about HIV and making informed decision to know their HIV status.

 Willingness of our TBAS to Improve their skills in HCT, Universal Safety Precaution, maternal and Child health and other health related issues.  Large number of pregnant women patronize TBAs clinic

 Vocational training incorporated into sensitization of FSW on correct and consistent use of condom.  Motivates high attendance, participation, patience, team work and they are happy that they acquire new skill.

 Mass mobile activities make it easier to reach large number of people, than creating awareness, service demanding and referral for both HCT and presumptive TB client

 Inaccessibility of ART Sites as a result of its distance to target population.(Oriade LGA)  Attitudes of medical personnel towards referred patients is not friendly.  Harassment of FSW by the police.  Ijamo police station DPO shot brothel manager to death in Ilesa.

 TBAs lack information on infant and maternal mortality associated with HIV as well as HIV among pregnant women  TBAs have little skills on maternal and Child health, HCT,TB and other health related issues.

 TBAs has large number of (M5 F116) student in training and (M7 F57)staff.  Four brothels in Ilesa West LGA land lords have changed the tenancy from brothel to shop for trading.  All FSW in this brothel have moved to Ilesa East LGA

 ART sites in Oriade LGA should be decentralized for easy access of positive clients to services.  Police should be trained on how to mentor FSW.

 Regular training of TBAs will go a long way in reducing HIV, maternal and paternal morbidity and mortality in State of Osun  TBAs student and staff should be included in trainings

THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE PRIVILEGE…
