4 NSR 1 construction started. Main works underway early November Rialton Link completed May, lining still to be done Rialton Road downgrade consultation complete, proposal to prevent access on to former link from A3059 NSR 2 & 3: Working with Network Rail to manage development NSR 3 Growth Deal Bid

5 Newquay Signage Strategy To maximise use of Rialton Link and alleviate traffic through Quintrell Downs Resigning from Halloon to East Newquay and Nansledan via A3059 Consider safety of proposed route, potential impact on local network and SAT NAV re-orientation Due complete Dec 2015

7 To improve pedestrian access through the village A number of potential crossing points examined on East Road Maintaining but calming traffic flow Improving pedestrian safety Feasibility complete Scheme programmed for 16/17

9 Cycling schemes A3058 Henver Road from Narrowcliff to Rialton Road including the Porth Four Turns junction commencing at the start of February 2016; Bank Street junction with Marcus Hill commencing in the first week of March 2016; The Barrowfields shared use path commencing at the start of February 2016;

11 To support the implementation of effective transport strategies in Cornwall’s towns Improve management and flow of traffic and help to increase the capacity of parking for customers and visitors within our towns First tranche of towns: Penzance, St Ives, Falmouth/Penryn, Truro, Newquay and Bude

12 Parking Review Phase 1: Identifying key parking issues with Members Highway Managers and Town Councils Review of policy and practice elsewhere Parking surveys of on-street parking use Consideration of costs and income opportunities

13 Parking Review Next phase to: survey residents, visitors and businesses in each of the towns about parking issues develop parking solutions for further consultation with the intention of beginning to deliver any changes in summer 2016.
