N EO R OUTER V IRTUAL P RIVATE N ETWORK (VPN) NeoRouter is a cross-platform zero-configuration Virtual Private Network (VPN) solution that securely connects computers at any locations into a virtual Local Area Network (LAN). It gracefully integrates remote access, file sharing, user and access management. NeoRouter employs a hybrid Peer-to-Peer (P2P) design. Each NeoRouter domain consists of one server at the SCEMD and multiple clients distributed out to the CEOC’s. The server is responsible for authenticating users and client computers, as well as mediating direct P2P connections between clients.

P ALMETTO V ISION - A Spoke-and-Hub Design Project Update: Hub server installed at State Emergency Operating Center (SEOC) 30 servers deployed to County Emergency Operating Center’s (CEOC) South Carolina National Guard (SCNG) 1 server and 7 workstations Oct 12 th Beta Testing starts Oct 20 th Working Group meets to establish when system goes from Beta to Operational Palmetto Vision has been recognized by SAIC, the developers of UICDS, and DHS for size, scope and uniqueness of it's UICDS implementation South Carolina will be one of the first to implement a state-wide IPAWS system allowing every county access to the full-range of IPAWS-OPEN 3.0 capabilities. DHS's Virtual USA is integrated into the Palmetto Vision network to seamlessly share data to every county as well as out to the state and federal level. Displaying Data within COP: Dorchester Adding vehicle tracking to display within COP GIS dept. has uploaded county infrastructure onto server SCNG Adding SPOT Satellite tracking data to COP Adding FlexTrain personnel tracking data to York Adding selected 911 calls within COP Adding video streaming from county buildings and schools GIS dept. will mount a directory of all county infrastructure onto server
