Advanced Composition students will choose from Strands 1, 2, 3, 5. DECA/WBL students will do Strand 4 unless they are not completing the project for DECA/WBL. Honors and AP students will complete Strand 5. Strand 1--College focused, students will build the project around the college program that pertains to their chosen field of study. Strand 2--Career/Military, students who are going into the workforce or the military will build their project around that choice. Strand 3--Community Service, students will report out on a major community service project, like an Eagle Scout project. Strand 4--DECA or WBL, this will only apply if your child is part of either of these programs. Strand 5--Extended Essay, students will do extensive research regarding issues within a field of study.

All students are required to fulfill 20 hours of on-the-job mentoring, community service, or extended research depending on the strand of focus.
