Topic 3 (C3) Development of a model for the entrepreneurial implementation of the central german competence centre for waste management based on a Public Privat Partnership, (e.g. concept, business model etc.) How can public and private actors cooperate in the area of waste management to achieve a sustainable growth for the region, low costs for the consumers and environmental protection?

European Waste Management Results Summarising and Presentation of best-practice solutions in the field of waste management / landfill management at European level in thematic modules in a competence network / centre of excellence that can be used by the partners and is accessible by other interested actors Final result: Publication of a European Handbook with Guidelines for the waste management / landfill and reuse in hardcopy and on the internet as instrument for the dissemination of information and experience and to facilitate further international business activities
