A Little About Me I learned Spanish in high school and college. I’ve been to Spain and awesome experiences! I’ve been a teacher for 11 years with 9 in MUSD.

What you need to bring College-ruled spiral notebook. This will be your Spanish journal. A section in your binder for Spanish. Unit packet – keep it with you, take it out each day.

What you need to bring Pens and pencils. Several dry erase markers-dark colors are best. 1 time only – bring a pack of 100 3 x 5 index cards.

Participation Participate—This class—and learning a language—is all about the participation!

Participation You will have the chance to earn participation points daily as you try out a new language. Mistakes do not matter – you will get points for trying and being actively engaged.

Class rules Be in your seat before the bell rings. Class starts as soon as you enter the room. Come to class prepared to learn. Participate actively.

Class rules Show respect for the teacher and for fellow classmates. No food or drink in the classroom.

Daily procedures Class starts when you enter the room. Take out your spiral notebook and your unit packet. Sit down and begin the task on the overhead screen as soon as you get to class.

How you will be graded Daily participation Completion of weekly assignments in the unit packet Unit projects Spanish journal - collected periodically.

How you will be graded Assignments and project due dates are posted to school loop Directions and rubrics for each unit are posted on the classroom website. Grades are updated on school loop on a weekly basis.

Class Website vs. School Loop Log in to school loop to check when assignments are due, and your grades. Check the classroom website for assignment directions, rubrics, and to see what you missed when you were absent.
