Companies who hire in bulk lack the interpersonal connections with their employees resulting in inadequate training. 1 “Over 50% of employees recruited in to an organization will leave within two years” (Yazinski). 2 Forbes reports that job hopping is the “new normal” for millenials - companies must defend the expensive workforce integration costs by retaining their employees. 3 New Hire Problems:

The Solution: Rapid Rampup The employee engagement software that will act as a “virtual assistant” during the employee’s onboarding process. Software includes: access to employer resources: such as office site maps, orientation information, mentor/manager/team member location & info, training videos, timelines & reminders for completing HR processes, and other helpful tips, websites, and resources. The “Colleague Community” function will allow employees to ask questions to managers or mentors and/or spark social connections.

Business Case With a goal of 10% employee turnover, they would only face $2,500,000 in annual workforce integration costs… a savings of $1,225,000 annually for a company with just 1000 employees Company ABC is facing $3,775,000 in annual workforce integration costs Company ABC has 1000 employees; Average of 50,000 per year = annual labor costs of $50,000,000 Using SHRM’s model of 50% replacement costs TalentSpace’s 2013 average employee turnover rate (15.1%)
