Step One. Step Two. Call and ask for the business owner. Say this: I’m Paul with legacy Mortgage Group. I have a large database of past clients, family and friends. I send them something every two to four weeks to stay in touch, and I like to send them things of value or stuff that they can use. I was wondering if I sent them your business information if you could offer them some kind of discount to learn about your services? Helps me because I’ve given them something of value and it helps you because they might patronize your business. Is this something you can do?

Step three. Get the details of the offer and create the coupon. Get Coupon Approval Email or hand deliver a copy of the coupon and after the business owner has approved it say: Okay, I’ll send this out on my next mailer/video/blog post/news letter and I’ll make sure you get a copy of it. Oh and, don’t forget, if you know of anyone that needs my help, I’d appreciate it if you would send them my way… Download your new coupon to your computer into a directory called “B2B Coupons.”

Be consistent Prune your B2B partners as needed. Remind your Clients to patronize all of your B2B partners. Ask you Clients what B2B discounts you should be looking for. Recycle your B2B’s. Be thoughtful of the seasons.
