In a bid to understand a current generation conducted a study, 2200 young men and women were contacted targeting the age group of 18-25 years across 13 cities. The study explores attitudes towards money among the youth. Respondents believe money facilitates happiness and makes good times possible.

Many students save money for higher education. They save money for weekend outings. They also save money for their friends birthday gifts. They save money to gift their boyfriend/girlfriend. They even save money for their vacations. They mainly save money to buy something for themselves.
