DISCUSS What did you spend most of your time doing after school hours? Is there anything that you needed to accomplish yesterday that you did not get around to doing? How did it make you feel yesterday? How does it make you feel today? How can you can you change your schedule in the next 24 hours in order to accomplish what you need to get done?

“TO DO” lIST after school LIST what you want to accomplish and what YOU NEED to accomplish today after school. This could include homework, exercising, eating dinner, etc. Beside each activity, list a total time YOU think each activity will take.

PLANNING TIME – MY NEXT 24 HOURS Fill out the chart to track how you hope to spend your time after school, using YOUR “To Do” list and time table.

What is Time Management Time management is making the best use of the time you have. It is knowing: a. A system for helping you meet your goals b. Practical tips for using your time effectively c. How to succeed when facing stumbling blocks or procrastination d. Yourself – your habits, goals and times during the day when you are most alert and productive

So you get the most of your academic career So you can participate in activities that are important to you So you can better enjoy both work and play So you can be firmly in control of your life and work Achieve more Have more free time Lead a balanced life Meet deadlines
