3. Logistics  Take place in Strasbourg (tbc) once a year for 2010 and 2011 and will be followed by an official drinks reception  Follow a similar format to the previous First Heads of the European NPM Network meeting held in Strasbourg on the 5 th November 2009 Heads of NPMs’ meetings Context of Head of NPMs’ meetings  Opportunity for the Heads to: –engage multilaterally –gain an overview of project activities –get an insight into how the project is developing –raise and discuss any relevant NPM issues

4. Annual meetings of the NPM Contact Persons  These meetings will be primarily geared at setting the agenda of activities for the European NPM Project for the year ahead in consultation with all NPMs  There is one additional envisaged Contact Persons meetings for 2010: –The second NPM Contact Persons meeting is scheduled for November 2010, which will be placed directly after the P2P NHRSs’ Contact Persons’ meeting –The second NPM Contact Persons’ meeting in November 2010 will be aimed at reviewing the agenda and discussing the activities for 2011

5. The Regular NPM Newsletter  There will be a monthly NPM Newsletter disseminated electronically to all of the European NPM Network via the Contact Persons  The key aim is to create a regular forum by which the European NPM Network remains updated on developments within the Network and on issues that are deemed relevant for the Network  Jointly produced by the NHRS Unit and Padua University/Stefano Valenti  Should you wish to have a specific item included in Newsletter please contact Stefano Valenti

6. The Council of Europe’s website  The Council of Europe’s Directorate General for Human Rights and Legal Affairs (DGHL) will be launching its website shortly  Within this website is a portal for the National Human Rights Structures (NHRS) Unit and details will be listed that are considered relevant for the Peer-to-Peer Network including all European NPMs as well as NHRSs  Should you wish to raise a relevant item for consideration for the website please contact a member of the European NPM Project team
