2 Classrooms Affect Behavior, Attitudes, & Learning  Classroom environments give children and parents strong messages.  Arrange the Classroom into Interest areas By looking at a classroom, you can tell what and how children are taught Room arrangement silently communicates a program’s philosophy toward early childhood education.  Establish an educational orientation The classroom should be a place where children can learn simple, accurate information about people and the world around them. select bulleting board materials, posters, calendars, and teaching materials that are reality based and have educational value.  Welcome every child Creating an environment that will include all families (ex: taking pictures of students with the person that dropped them off the first day, then post those pictures in your class)
