Introduction: Introduction: Bless, Blessed, Blessing The Root Hebrew word is: Bārak – To Bless The Root Greek word is: Eulogeō Eu = good / logeō = word “The verbs so translated in the OT and the NT respectively are bārak and eulogeō. Both have the meaning to pronounce blessed, but the primary meaning is to convey a gift by a potent utterance.” Elwell, Walter A. Evangelical Dictionary of Theology, Baker: 1984, p. 162

2 The Blessing! “Temporal blessing, as well as spiritual blessings, comes from God. He is the sovereign disposer of all blessings. If it is received by birth or inheritance, it is by His providence, If it comes by gift, He moved the donors to bestow it.
