Here’s a great example… Physical Property Experiment I believe that my unknown is corn syrup. I looked up the density of corn syrup and found that it should be around 1.38 g/mL. I will find the density of my unknown by measuring its volume in a graduated cylinder and its mass on a scale. Once I have measured these values I will use the formula d=m/v to determine the density. I will compare my unknown’s density to the density of corn syrup to see if my prediction was correct. Chemical Property Experiment Corn syrup can be converted to ethanol through multiple chemical processes to use as a fuel source. To prove this you will need to find a video or something to show the class the experiment.
