2. You DO NOT need to lift the board out to slide it from side to side. Just push it.

3. But do not open ActivStudio yet. You will find that your pen can function like your mouse. You can move up and down the screen. You can click, double click, and right click.

9. The board can be bumped, slightly moved, or even slid completely out of the way during the school day. Calibrating the screen lets ActivStudio know exactly where your board is located.

10. THE NIB — This is what the ACTIVBoard senses. Your hand will not work, neither will the pen without the nib. It is removable. THE BUTTON — This will allow you to right click. Hover the pen over the board less than 1 cm away from the board …and press. LEFT CLICK — Tap the pen firmly but quickly into the white board DOUBLE CLICK — Two firm but quick taps with the pen’s nib is like a double- click with a mouse. Double Click This Link: North Penn CFF CLICK & DRAG — Click on the object you want to move, hold the pen nib down, and move the pen.
