LAUSD Diploma Requirements A-G requirements 2 years Physical Education (P.E. and/or JROTC) 1 year Technical Art Pass Fitnessgram Health (one semester) Service Learning Career Pathway Designation Requirements as of 2015-16 school year (Subject to change)

College GPA (Grade Point Average) Begins Fall semester of 10 th grade and Ends Summer Session prior to the 12 th grade. This is the GPA used for college applications which includes your class rank. *If you need to make up any course during that time it must be done before you begin the fall semester of the 12 th grade to improve your college GPA.* LAUSD GPA Grades 9-12 th grade Fall semester. Silver & Gold seal bearers (on diploma and cords for graduation). Class rank for school Valedictorian and Salutatorian.

Community Service Minimum Hours for the Graduation Ceremony Requirement is 80 hours (grades 9-12). College/Universities/Scholarships look for students with 100 or more hours.

Senior Portfolio (Senior Year) Senior Portfolio will include… Cover Letter Resume Educational goals Questionnaire or UC Personal Statement Career Cruising (on-line) Transcript Work Samples (5 but 2 must be essays corrected by teacher) College Application & Scholarship/Financial Aide Worksheet & Evidence Letter of Recommendation (minimum 2) Community Service Hours (Proof of minimum 80 hours) Certificates/Awards (if any earned grades 9-12)

Additional Information…… *Graduation ceremony additional requirements: Pass Senior Advisory (fall and spring semester). Senior Survey (college/university acceptance proof & FAFSA/Financial Aide proof). 96% Attendance Rate. No uncleared absences. No detention owed. No financial obligations/debts… Textbooks, library books, sports equipment, etc. No discipline issues/challenges – LAUSD/Lincoln H.S. Code of Conduct Senior Contract signed and on file. Graduation Contract signed and on file.
