Temperate Deciduous Forest
The Temperate Deciduous Forest biome is located in the United States, Canada, Europe, China and Japan. They are also some parts of Russia that contain this biome Rainforest cover less than 2% of the earths total surface area, Yet they are home to 50% of the Earths plants and animal. The average annual temperature in a deciduous forest is 50F The average rainfall is 30 to 60 inches a year

Map of Temperate Deciduous Forest
The Temperate Forest is light dark green that is on the map

Animal Life One animal that lives in the Temperate Deciduous Forest is a American Black bear. This animal runs up to 20 miles per hour and that’s very fast for a pound body. Cubs are blind after birth and weigh 8oz-10 oz

Plant Life In the biome of eastern part of the united states is where the American Beech Tree grows. One fact about this tree is that the leaves that grow on it is three inches in length and the color of them is a bright green Second fact is that the tree grows from 90 to 100 feet tall and spreads 50 to 70 feet.

Human Influences Humans Trip the land of trees for lumber which is used in construction projects, such as homes, making paper and bridges. Humans uses Deciduous forest as a source of food like hunting animals, gathering fruits, and Midicial purpose. Some people enjoy the forest in recreational ways like camping on rare occasions human carelessness destroys some forest cases like wild forest fires.

Weather The average temperature of the forest is about 50 degrees F.
The average of rainfall in the forest is 30 to 60 inches a year. During the winter months water is generally not available to keep the leaves of some plants alive. The winter Typically sees temperatures below freezing. The four seasons are easily recognizable and each lasts about 3 months.

Warnings and Threats Many animals are hunted in Deciduous Forest , The endanger species are both Bison and elks are mostly wiped out. Deciduous Forest has many threats , Like as logging, Most trees here are hardwoods, Means They have denser wood. Which also grows slowly.

Physical Land/ Habitat
Temperate forest are areas with high levels of precipitation, Humidity and contain a variety of deciduous trees. These habitats are identified by the vegetation and animal that populate them. People that live here can feel the rapid changes from cold and dry to wet and warm or to any of the other corners of the climate envelope are often swift and dramatic.
