3 Dimensions The liger is twice the size of a lion and a tiger. It can grow up to 12ft. when on hind legs. They usually weigh 700 to 900 lbs. The liger has a tigers markings.

4 Habitat The liger only lives in zoos around the world. A liger can only live in a zoo because they can't reproduce.

5 Diet The main meats they eat are zebra, giraffe, buffalo, wildebeast, gazelles, and impala. They usually prefer to have meat instead of plants.

6 Family life Do to the liger being a hybrid, they cannot reproduce.

7 Social Behavior They get both tiger and lion behaviors. They are socialable. They enjoy swimming.

8 Characteristics They usually aren't very aggresive. Ligers and Tigons don't get along very well. A liger will use it's teeth to knaw into an attacking animal. Since they live in zoos, their food is just given to them. They live for about 35 years.

9 History Ligers have always been human bred.

10 Present Status They are a new species and are protected.

11 Relationship to Humans Ligers and humans get along very well.
