WHAT IS IN A CARBON FOOTPRINT Carbon is a gas However, the total carbon footprint cannot be calculated because of the large amount of data required and the fact that carbon dioxide can be produced by natural occurrences. A measure of the total amount of

WHAT IS A CARBON FOOTPRINT When you use fossil fuels, like heating oil to keep your house warm or gasoline for your family's car, these things create carbon dioxide, also called CO2. Carbon dioxide is called a greenhouse gas. Many scientists believe that greenhouse gases are making the earth too warm. Your carbon footprint is the total amount of CO2 you create. A big carbon footprint is bad for the planet. Carbon dioxide is wasting energy. Every time you use energy that comes from fossil fuels, you create CO2 and make your carbon footprint bigger. Think of CO2 as energy waste. It's what's leftover after you use fossil fuels. You create carbon dioxide every day.

HOW TO REDUCE YOUR CARBON FOOTPRINT You can plant more tree because trees they breath in co2 and breath out oxygen that’s why trees help another reason is solar panels use that to get energy and windmills they also help to get energy. You can also just try not to use that much energy.
