ATRIP Overview Approximately 1055 working projects in program Around 750 county sponsored projects 70% of all approved projects Approximately 750 county sponsored projects Around 475 system improvement/preservation 65% of county approved projects Around 275 bridge replacement/rehabilitation 35% of county approved projects

ATRIP Overview Estimated cost for county projects based on sponsor provided estimates is around $825,000,000.00 475 system improvement/preservation projects at sponsor estimated cost of $585,000,000.00 63% awarded projects and 71% total cost 275 bridge replacement/rehabilitation projects at sponsor estimated cost of $240,000,000.00 37% awarded projects and 29% total cost

ATRIP Status 435 county projects addressed through December 2015 Approximately 57% of total projects awarded 334 system improvement/preservation projects Represents 77% of projects addressed 101 bridge replacement/rehabilitation projects Represents 23% of projects addressed 315 county sponsored projects remaining to address 141 system improvement/preservation 174 bridge replacement/rehabilitation

ATRIP Status 4 Round I/Supplemental Round I projects not let 3 bridges and 1 system improvement 44 Round II projects (12 advanced through CB) 30 bridges and 14 system improvements 154 RAMP projects (3 advanced through CB) 113 bridges and 41 system improvements 113 Round III projects (18 advanced through CB) 28 bridges and 85 system improvements

ATRIP Progress Report 16 counties finished with ATRIP: Barbour, Bullock, Chambers, Cherokee, Clarke, Coffee, Colbert, Conecuh, Covington, Cullman, Dale, DeKalb, Escambia, Henry, Houston and Escambia 23 counties have addressed at least half of their allocated projects and/or funds 26 counties have addressed less than half of their allocated projects and/or funds (11 RAMP counties) 2 counties have not let a project

ATRIP Issues Advancing bridge projects 37% of projects awarded 23% of projects addressed 55% of projects remaining 28 of 67 counties (42%) have addressed less than ½ of the projects awarded Many had requests unfunded Several have let only a couple of projects Achieving re-established deadlines for award rounds Expect letter soon requesting status update

ATRIP Issues Financial awareness Lettings running around 106% of awards Recent letting have been higher Most counties finishing recently have been due to exhausting allocated funds more than completing all awarded projects Committed to addressing projects awarded through ATRIP with the stipulation that overall costs do not exceed allocated funds

ATRIP Issues Once ATRIP allocation is obligated, funding option is county FA, MPO and county funds Will work with sponsors to extent possible to consider options if funding becomes an issue There are no extra ATRIP funds available to cover additional costs above what was previously awarded to sponsors Each county is responsible for ensuring they know their available balance of ATRIP and RAMP funds
