It is the largest member of the canine family.

IIIIt is an ice age survivor from about 300,000 years ago.

They are protected in some places like Canada.

They are hunted in some places like Norway for sport and their skins.

TTTTheir breeding season is between April and July and they usually have about 5-6 pups.

They are carnivores and eat only meat like bison,deer and wild beasts.

WWWWolves howl for lost members of their pack to find their way home.

They kill about one bison a day depending on the size of the pack.
