5 Core Skills More than a concept
We are beyond testing the feasibility of Core Skills It is embedded across organisations - seen as the norm Achievements and success to date are testimony to this (both in the NW and nationally) Along with the continuing expansion of the Programme

6 Core Skills More than… More than Stat and Man Training: - Clinical Skills and other frameworks - The Care Certificate More than Training: - Wider HR / pre-employment opportunities - Systems in place to support a flexible workforce More than the Health Sector: - Manchester Met delivering to Social Care students - Devo Manc – looking at the whole system

7 Core Skills Making a difference
The Core Skills… “has been a godsend, the majority of our staff completed the training quickly, those outstanding will complete in the coming months. The amount of time and effort that this has saved our Practice is immense. We would be keenly interested in volunteering for ROSTA” Lorna Johns Practice Manager, Thursby Surgery, Burnley, Lancs

8 Core Skills Couldn’t do it without you
We have achieved this because of the support, input and buy-in from you here today We hope you will join us for the next steps on this journey and continue to help shape what the Core Skills can become
