Average Annual Condom Availability in Africa Males 15-59, 1997 - 1999 Average availability measured as 1997 to 1999 total national supply from all donor sources divided by number of males aged 15 to 59. Median value for all studied countries is 2.5 condoms per man. Number of Countries Condoms per man per year

Condoms are Free to Missions! Centrally financed in FY2002 Up to $25 Million CPF facilitates expansion of condom and ABC prevention programs More mission funds available for HIV/AIDS related activities

Who Can Access the CPF? Your program! Condoms paid for with FY2002 funds are free to Sub-Saharan Africa. FY2002 CPF funding supports shipments through the end of CY2003; make sure your orders are in!

CPF Progress Per unit cost drops below 5 cents To date, 30 countries worldwide have requested condoms from the fund Includes 12 countries that did not receive USAID condoms last year Shipment quantities to Africa over the past 5 years have averaged 189 million per year The fund will allow USAID to increase this to 425 million condoms per year
