2. Period Transformations To make a change to the period of the graph of a trigonometric function, modify the coefficient of the angle variable, B, of the trigonometric equation.

3. Period Transformations  If the absolute value of the coefficient of the angle variable B is greater than one, the period of the trigonometric function will be less than the period of that function’s parent graph.  So will have a period of less than 360° or 2 .
