Participate in a PLC to integrate Mimio technology into my classroom to increase engagement Read research articles on engagement and implement strategies Read and implement strategies presented in weekly bulletins Create SLANT poster and integrate the acronym into everyday learning

Engage students in choral responses Use "Think, Pair, Share", "Think, Write, Cover, Show" (with whiteboards), "Turn and Talk" Assign students a variety of partners (monthly talk partner, table partners - side-by-side and across) Implement a "No Hands" policy Use random calling and dip sticks

Is there a quantitative data approach that I can add to my research? How can I measure my success? Is there a way for students to track and/or self-assess their own engagement?
