2. DESIGNER: ARMIN HOFMANN Armin Hofmann was a swiss graphic design expert by the age of twenty-six. His career began in 1947 as a teacher at the Allegmeine Gewerbeschule Basel School of Art and Crafts, following Emil Ruder as head of the graphic design department at the Schule fur Gestaltung Basel (Basel School of Design). He played a tremendous role in developing the graphic design style known as the Swiss Style

3. LOGO TYPE: NEW ROCHELLE DRAFTS FINAL My idea for the concept was to somehow create a very bold, sharp design that would look good on a sign of some sort that could be placed on the front of my high school since that is the main area of New Rochelle. The purple is the color of the city.

4. TYPE SPECIMEN POSTER: FRANKLIN GOTHIC The idea behind this design was to go with a American theme since, Franklin Gothic was crated and used heavily in U.S typography. The red- white-blue colors are to mimic the nations flag, along with the dimed stars.

5. DESIGNER BROCHURE: ARMIN HOFMANN The idea behind this design was to my best ability, mimic the design style of Armin Hofmann as an homage to him, since he was arguably the head activist of the international typographic style. Everything from the black-white coloring, to the red accents and the angular shaping is some of the characteristics of his work I picked up. OUTSIDE INSIDE
