There are many opportunities available for students to go to college. Dual Enrollment + Scholarships + Other Options (see page 20 in your 2014-15 CTAE Booklet: Post-Secondary Options)

DUAL ENROLLMENT Dual enrollment is for any eligible 11th or 12th (in some limited cases 9 th & 10 th) grade students. Students may enroll full-time or part-time in approved credit bearing college level courses which must count toward state and/or local high school graduation requirements.

You go to ONE class and get high school graduation credit AND college credit for that course!! This saves you TIME and MONEY!! Simply said...

SO… If I’m not eligible for DE until 11 th grade, why are you telling me now? YOU MUST MEET COLLEGE ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS

There are many Dual Enrollment classes that meet at The Academy of Advanced Studies. You will need to fill out registration forms to be admitted to AAS.

Please look at your Dual Enrollment brochure your teacher has given you. Read the 3 student stories and how they were able to graduate from high school with college credits!
