OTHER PIECES OF ADVICE You should be confident. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes! You cannot learn without mistakes. There is a saying: "The person who never made a mistake never made anything." People can only correct your mistakes when they hear you make them. Remember! The best way to learn is through speaking.
6
OTHER PIECES OF ADVICE You should use English as much as possible. If your teacher asks you a question, try to say as much as possible. If your teacher asks you to speak in pairs or groups with other students, you should only speak in English and say as much as possible.
7
You should never say: “English is too difficult!” or “I don’t understand anything!” or “I’m hopeless at English! Look! There are many very very stupid people in England or the United States and they CAN speak English !!!!! OTHER PIECES OF ADVICE

Don’t try to understand EVERY word! For a word you don’t understand in a sentence, look at the other words around it. They will help you. Try to guess the meaning from the context.
10
OTHER PIECES OF ADVICE Don’t translate into English from French. Think in English! Use the English you know even if it’s not much. For isolated words, use a dictionary!
